Fall is in full swing and there are plenty of kid-friendly activities to go around. Whether it’s collecting fall leaves for crafts or going on a nature walk, below are our Champagne Family Dentistry favorites.
Fallin’ for beautiful art
Make a leaf mosaic or leaf animal! Go on a nature walk to collect beautiful, fall-colored leaves. Arrange them on a blank piece of white or colored construction paper to get a general idea of the layout. Then glue the leaves one by one to create the design. Use an old paintbrush, to prevent the leaves from ripping. Place stones or books on either side of the paper to prevent it from curling. Check out these cute Fall Leaf designs!
Make a leaf tracing
Create a beautiful leaf tracing by collecting leaves. Here’s our favorite. Start by placing a thin piece of paper over the leaf and then rubbing the side of a crayon or oil pastel over the entire leaf. Repeat with other colors and leaf designs!
