March holds a special place in our hearts at Champagne Pediatric Dentistry as we commemorate Dentist Day on March 6th and honor Dental Assistants Recognition Week from March 4th to March 8th. These meaningful occasions allow us to shine a spotlight on the remarkable individual who is the driving force behind our practice – our exceptional pediatric dentist.
Meet Our Pediatric Dental Champion
Dr. Rebecca Maginot is not just our dentist; she’s our pediatric dental champion, dedicated to making every child’s dental visit a positive and enjoyable experience. Dr. Maginot’s passion for pediatric dentistry shines through in her gentle demeanor, genuine care and unwavering commitment to promoting lifelong oral health habits.
About Dr. Maginot
Dr. Rebecca Maginot was born and raised in Southern California. She comes from a big family with six siblings and two amazing parents, who have consistently supported her throughout her education and life journey. Dr. Maginot has a unique and extensive educational background. She received her Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Purdue University, her Master of Science in Genetics and Genomics from Tulane University, and her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Indiana University School of Dentistry. Following dental school, she completed her residency in pediatric dentistry at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Dr. Maginot has additionally published multiple academic papers pertaining to dentistry and health care. Dr. Maginot is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association and the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry.
In her spare time, Dr. Maginot can be found spending time with family and friends and going up to Lake Tahoe for outdoor activities such as skiing, hiking, running and hanging out with her little Maltipoo, Cotton!
Dr. Maginot is excited to continue her practice of pediatric dentistry with the Champagne Pediatric Dentistry team. She believes the most rewarding aspect of her practice is to give her patients a comfortable and welcoming experience. She aims to ensure that all her patients leave happy and excited to return for their next visit!
