Composite dental fillings are made of a resin material that looks like the natural enamel of your teeth. The material is placed into a cavity and cured with a special UV light before being polished smooth by your dentist. The final product offers a seamless, sturdy fix for cavities and dental decay.

Filling Restorations for Damaged Teeth
Whether by simple accident or advanced decay, damaged teeth in children is a fairly common occurrence. Damaged or decayed baby teeth are not viable candidates for restoration, but permanent teeth can undergo a simple and pain-free restoration using state-of-the-art technology and safety practices. After numbing the area around the tooth, your child’s dentist will remove the damaged material and will choose either an amalgam or composite filling material to replace the missing parts of the tooth. The result is a seamless, long-lasting fix for your child’s smile and a comfortable experience for them and you!
In certain cases, general anesthesia can make young patients more comfortable and a dentist’s job safer and more effective. We offer different types of sedation services depending on our patient’s needs and their parent’s preference, and we provide in-office general anesthesia through a partnership with a trained anesthesiologist.
Local anesthesia is a numbing agent that is applied directly to the tooth and surrounding gums. It is generally used for fillings and other simple procedures.
Known to many as “laughing gas,” nitrous oxide is an inhaled sedative that numbs any pain and relieves anxiety while the patient remains awake through a procedure. It acts fast and wears off with no side effects.
Usually administered in the form of a pill an hour or so before the procedure, oral sedation alleviates pain and anxiety without making a patient unconscious.
IV anesthesia is usually reserved for longer procedures or exceptionally anxious patients. The anesthesia is applied through an IV, where it works quickly and steadily while the patient remains unaware of their surroundings.
Do not let insurance stand in the way of good oral health care for you and your child. Our monthly membership plan gives adults and children alike access to routine exams, cleanings, X-rays and more for a flat monthly rate!
